This two-day training entitled "Healing Community Trauma: How to Do Acupuncture in the Field and Create Community Clinics After Traumatic Events" will give trainees the skills and knowledge to set up and run field clinics providing effective acupuncture treatment for acute stress and post-traumatic stress (PTS) in disaster and post traumatic event situations, as well as in ongoing community clinics. It will also provide information about the neuro-biology of trauma, latest acupuncture protocols being used to treat trauma, and current research about the effectiveness of acupuncture in treating trauma.
