On the weekend of April 21-22, 2018, the Acupuncture Society of Virginia (ASVA) will hold its Annual Spring Seminar in conjunction with our Annual Membership Meeting. ASVA is a professional membership organization of licensed acupuncturists (L.Acs) dedicated to promoting the practice of acupuncture and East Asian Medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We are the only association for licensed acupuncturists in the state. Our mission is to uphold high professional ethics and standards by monitoring and supporting legislation regarding professional standards and public safety. We also aim to educate the general public regarding the nature and scope of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine. 

This year we are excited to host Jamie Chavez,  L.Ac. from Martinez, California. Mr. Chavez will present “Orthopedic/ Trigger Point Acupuncture: A Hands-On Approach to Lower Back, Neck and Upper Extremity Pain." He is a well-known and respected speaker and clinician in the  acupuncture community.  We expect to attract licensed acupuncturists and acupuncture students from Virginia and the surrounding states.

ASVA is currently seeking sponsors for this upcoming seminar and membership meeting. We offer a variety of sponsorship levels for your convenience. Once we receive sponsorship payment, we will include your company’s information in our event e-blasts and newsletters. These communications will reach over 800 licensed professionals in multiple states along the East Coast. Your company will also be featured on our website and any printed material distributed during the seminar.

Event Sponsorship Levels

ASVA Annual Membership Meeting Dinner Sponsor (2 available) - $1,500

  • Listing and logo on the ASVA web page for the year
  • Inclusion in pre-event promotions including 3 special sponsor emails - 2 special event sponsor emails and a separate individual email with only your company information
  • Advertisement opportunities in the quarterly ASVA digital newsletter to promote products, services and/or education events
  • Sign with logo displayed in seminar room all weekend and at dinner
  • Business literature or card placement on dinner tables
  • Announcement of sponsorship during dinner and both days at seminar
  • Attendees receive post-seminar contact information via email

  • Listing and logo on the ASVA web page for the year

Onsite Exhibitor Table (2 options): Premium Table (2 available) - $650 or Basic Table (8 available) - $500

  • Premium table is longer, larger and has access to a TV monitor for displaying company/product information
  • Listing as an Onsite Exhibitor on ASVA web page, event promotion emails and attendee packet
  • Inclusion in pre-event promotions including 2 special sponsor emails with your company information
  • Attendees receive post-seminar contact information via email
  • Tables will be set up outside of the seminar room. Attendees will be able to visit vendor tables during the breaks, during lunches and before/after the event
  • One table and chairs, waste basket if needed, Wi-Fi and electricity provided 

Coffee and Tea Break Sponsor (6 available) - $200 per break
  • Listing and logo on the ASVA web page and event e-blasts

Seminar and Dinner Attendee Bags

Want to increase your marketing presence? We have two chances for corporate bag sponsors and it’s as easy as contacting ASVA for details. Sponsors should prepare 50-60 seminar bags and 40 Dinner bags. Also suggested is donation towards ASVA100.

Raffle and Silent Auction Donations: Each year, ASVA holds a raffle and silent auction during the event weekend. This is another great way to expose your products to our attendees. If you are interested in donating items, please e-mail ASVA at acusova@gmail.com. Please include information on the item donated and its approximate value. We will then provide you with a shipping address to which to send the raffle item(s). You may also include any marketing materials you wish for us to display on our Raffle Donors Information Table. The deadline date for submitting raffle items is currently Monday April 16th, 2018.
