This year we are hosting Dr. Wei Liu. He will present a course on advanced acupuncture techniques not taught in master's programs. Many of these skills were passed down from his grandfather and are not available in english language texts. The course will include lecture and practicum. Participation in the hands-on portion is optional, you may also choose to observe only. If you choose to participate, please bring your own needles. We will provide hand sanitizer, alcohol, cotton swabs, and sharps containers. Lunch provided both days to seminar registrants only. Our ASVA annual meeting will take place from 12:30pm-2pm on Sunday.
Due to practicum, space is limited. Sign up early to reserve your spot!
Location: The event will be held at the newly remodeled Fairview Park Marriott just outside of Washington, DC in Falls Church, VA. The hotel is close to Reagan National Airport, Washington Dulles Intl Airport, I-495, I-66 and the Washington DC area. Parking is free.

About Dr. Wei Liu: Wei Liu, PhD, L.Ac. will present a course on advanced acupuncture techniques not taught in master's programs. Many of these skills were passed down from his grandfather and are not available in English language texts. Dr. Liu is a third generation Chinese medical practitioner from Tianjin, China. While living in China he worked as an Orthopedic Surgeon at Tianjin’s First Central Hospital. In the US he has taught at Harvard Medical School and the faculty at Tri-State. Dr. Liu now lives in the Twin Cities where he practices TCM and is a professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He also serves as a regular guest professor for the doctoral program at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Dr. Liu has been a frequent presenter at Great River Symposium and Pacific Symposium.He is an esteemed teacher and speaker on Chinese medicine who is sought after from coast to coast. We are happy to have the opportunity to host him in Virginia.

* One month to one week prior: 60% of tuition will be refunded.
